RowPilot – Privacy Policy

RowPilot fills web forms from a spreadsheet you choose, one row at a time.

What the extension reads

• Your spreadsheet and any folder of attachments you choose. They're read in your browser, and go only into the web page you ask RowPilot to fill.
• The form on the page. After you click the RowPilot icon on a page and ask it to read or fill the form, it looks at that page's form fields and their labels. It doesn't watch your browsing, and it can't reach a site until you click its icon there.

RowPilot skips password and card number fields.

What the extension stores

All of this is stored only in your browser:

• Your spreadsheet rows, in temporary browser-session storage, so they survive closing the side panel. They're cleared when Chrome closes.
• Which row you're on and each row's status (done, skipped and so on), with any problem messages, with row values removed. These are kept for your 20 most recent files.
• Your saved setups: the page address, field identifiers and column names. No row values.
• The date you installed it, used for the 7-day Pro trial.
• Your Pro license key, if you bought one.

The progress log you can download includes each row's number, status, time and notes, plus the value in your first column. It's saved only where you choose.

What is sent off your device

Only your license key, when you activate Pro and about once a day after that. It goes to our payment provider, Gumroad (https://gumroad.com/privacy), to confirm the key is valid. No spreadsheet data, page content or browsing history goes with it.

Values you fill into a web page become part of that page, and whatever the site does with them is covered by that site's own policies. RowPilot never submits a form: you do.

When you buy Pro, Gumroad handles the payment under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details from them so we can provide the license and support.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share data, show ads, track you across websites or use analytics.
